Important Update

Over recent weeks we have slowly opened the club for longer hours and for the odd special event, we have at times been quite busy.

We have realised that we need to look again at the way we do things and ensure that we remain safe and within the rules and regulations, yet above all else a comfortable, relaxing and welcoming place to visit.

We are continuing to make a few amendments to the seating areas to ensure we can increase our capacity, whilst maintaining social distancing.
Also we ask that the one way system is observed at all times. However, if you have a reasonable reason why you can not use the steps on the way out then we will allow you to use the main doors to leave, as long as you ensure the way is clear and you observe social distancing.

Also, we will improve the track and trace system to ensure we capture all visitors to the club, this will take some of this responsibility away from the bar staff at busy times.

We do however, ask that all members take some responsibility and observe the rules and regulations,
I don't want to set out a whole list, but these procedures are already in place, so this is a small reminder to ensure we all keep safe in these difficult times.

1.Table groups should not be more than 6
2. Facemasks/Coverings to be worn at all times, unless sat at your table
3. Please do not move the furniture. This has been positioned to observe social distancing
4. Please do not stand in the bar area or anywhere within the club. This is against the rules and should not occur. Please ensure you are seated and if there is no room available then you will need to find room outside.
5. Please respect the bar staff- this is not their fault and they need to comply with the rules in place.

Finally, Thank you all for your continued support. If we follow the procedures above and ensure we help each other to observe these then we should be able to enjoy the facilities comfortably and safety.

Look forward to seeing you
Chris Mor

Updated Message to members

Firstly I would like to say a personal thank you to all members who have 'embraced' the current rules and restrictions.

Under new rules, from Thursday 24/09 we will close at 10pm on an evening. Therefore last orders will be 9.340pm and the club must be vacated and closed at 10pm sharp- So, for the avoidance of doubt- leave by 9:55pm

We will start to operate a table service. Please remember, we have never done this before, we are not trained as waiters and waitresses and we may make mistakes.

On arrival at the club please provide your contact details for track and trace purposes on the sheet provided. Please take a seat inside the club or outside on the patio etc. following the rule of 6.

A member of staff will come and take your order. They will also take your membership number, also for track and trace purposes.

Once seated we ask members to not walk around or move between tables and only leave your seat to use the facilities. If you are playing pool or darts please obey the rules applicable.

At all times, but especially when busy, I ask all members to please be patient and we will do our best to ensure all members are served quickly and efficiently.

FACEMASKS/COVERINGS are to be worn at all times unless sat at your table.

Please respect the bar staff. They are there to serve you and this is increasingly stressful with these rules. The committee has given the bar staff the authority to enforce these rules on members. They have the power to ask members to leave the premises if they believe there is a threat to the safety of other members and staff.

If we all follow the rules and do our bit then these new restrictions should not make any difference to our enjoyment of the club facilities and we will hopefully be able to stay open.

Thank you for your understanding and patience.

Chris Morley
